Bakersfield is one of the finest cities in California blessed with many stadiums and tourist attractions. But unfortunately, lack of infrastructure, especially transportation services, is a graet impediment to city\'s economic adavancement. the city should address this problem immediately to provide basic tarnsportation services in the city.
Lack of enough charter bus rental, mini bus rental, party bus rental is a major problm. Though there are few bus rental cmpanies n town, often they are booked out solid. Many group tarvel managers and local businesses raised this problem with BusNeeds.com recently. There are always groups ut there want to go to evenst in Bakersfield stadium but cannot go because there are not enough buses in Bakersfield. Often groups have to bring buses as far from bay area to serve Bakersfield. The city must encourage existing companies to add more buses or help new comapnies get into charter bus industry. since we are going through bad economic times, comapnies many not have the capital to buy new buses. The city may grand loans or subsidies to these comapnies to add more buses to the fleet.
